England Women’s boss Phil Neville dismisses US speculation

Phil Neville says he’s“100 percent happy“ as England Women’s boss despite links to this United States Women’s vacancy.
Ahead of Tuesday’s defeat in Bergen, it was reported Neville was the number one target of world champions.
However, when asked about the rumours following the match, Neville – who is set to be in charge of a Great Britain team in the summer’s Tokyo Olympics – said:“I have been linked with lots of jobs since becoming England manager and that is because my players’ve been so excellent.
„I have said before, I really like the job I am doing, it is a huge challenge.
„The players have been going in the ideal direction and that I get endorsed unbelievably from the FA. I am 100 per cent happy.“
England’s defeat to Norway means that the Lionesses have gone four games without a win because their 3-0 World Cup quarter-final victory.
During Tuesday’s match, the Football Association announced the fixture will be a friendly against Brazil at Middlesbrough’s Riverside Stadium on October 5.
And Neville said:“We’ve got another game after that that we’ll announce shortly, and I have mentioned to them we must win both games. We must start winning games again and playing .“
