Steelers vs. Titans NFL Pick – Preseason Week 3

In the game on Sunday, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Also Tennessee Titans Match at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.

The Steelers head into Week 3 of the preseason. They have wins over the Buccaneers and Chiefs. Following a quarterback conflict, the unit was the most remarkable for the Steelers last week. They held a good Kansas City offense in check for only seven points at a 17-7. Sure, the Patrick Mahomes playedbut it isnt like Chad Henne is horrible. He is a veteran who knows his way about an NFL crime.
I will have to acknowledge that it was not a terrific day for anybody. Josh Dobbs threw an interception. Thats a huge mark against him. Dobbs was becoming third-team repetitions a week behind Rudolph. Rudolph didnt do anything but the ball was protected by him passed for 77 yards on 10-of-15 passing.
Rudolph certainly has more upside down than Dobbs. This remains a quarterback competition, but I believe that really is Rudolphs job. To get an undrafted rookie out of Samford, Devlin Hodges has appeared impressive behind Dobbs and Rudolph. He is making him incredibly difficult on the Steelers to reduce at. At a minimum, Hodges will find his way onto the practice group.
The Steelers proceeded against the Chiefs as their starting QB in Week 2 with Rudolph. Ben Roethlisberger is expected to get the start in this one. It will be his first game action after sitting out Week 1 and 2 of the preseason. Dobbs is very likely to find a look a week since Rudolph got first-team repetitions. Dobbs is going to need to impress with this opportunity. The occupation and another mistake could be Rudolphs.
There are not any doubts about the quarterback rotation in Tennessee. It is among those clearer choices to be made from the NFL. Whereas Ryan Tannheill follows at the place marcus Mariota is the starting QB. Logan Woodside, AAF alumni and former Toledo Rocket, is nicely back and is just trying to catch onto a roster or practice group. Mariota will be starting 1 barring an injury. Knock on wood. Mariota is easily becoming the nod over Tannehill as far as Week 1 is concerned. How Tannehill and how Mariota perform today is irrelevant. When he struggles its certainly worth mentioning that Tannehill is going to be breathing down the neck of Mariota. Did the Titans but its a way to push Mariota. He did not perform the way season was wanted by the Titans.
Mariota was not dreadful, but he is at a point in his career where he has to lift up everyone around him. Make them much better players than they really are. Mariota handed for 11 touchdowns and 8 interceptions with 357 yards. He should be on his knee injury by now, so that there arent likely to be some explanations in 2019.
With respect to this preseason match, the Titans are going to have two starting quarterbacks with. Tannehill isnt the very best signal caller youll discover in the group, but hes got lots of experience as a starting QB at Miami.
He has acted as a rookie for more of his career than a backup option. Tannehill should be able to move the ball from copies when he receives the phone in this contest. Then isnt going to create his job being overly nervous regarded by Mariota if he does not. Tannehill is likely going to take over in this one in the second-half or near the first-halfs close. By then, the Steelers are not going to be needing their prime defenders out there.
Then on the Steelers side, they will get Roethlisberger out there to get close to a half, then a quarterback conflict between Dobbs and Rudolph. There is a fantastic chance that at least two of them are going to have the ability to put some drives together.
Combined with Mariota and Tannehill, that is four quarterbacks playing tonight. And when Hodges gets mop-up responsibility for the Steelers, hes been playing in the preseason, too. With a posted full of 40, there appears to be some worth over the OVER in this preseason edition of Sunday Night Football in Nashville.
