Britains Andy Murray achieved his first ATP semi-final with a success over Marius Copil in the European Open since 2017.
Three-time Grand Slam champion Murray came through 6-3 6-7 (7-9) 6-4 in two hours 35 minutes from Antwerp.
The Scot served for the match at 5-4 in the second set and held game point in the tie-break before Copil fought .
The 32-year-old produced the critical break in the last set to get to the last four.
Murray will face Ugo Humbert or Guido Pella of France in the semi-finals of Saturday.
