The FA has contacted Manchester City about what led paying them a settlement after a criticism they ventured to their software that was training to find out more.
The Reds paid a fee in the area of # 1m after whining that their version of this program Scout 7 had been accessed in 2013 to City.
After scouts moved to Anfield from the Etihad, the settlement was created.
It seems neither the FA nor the Premier League knew about this payment before the press reported it late last month.
Premier League rules state they require a criticism from a club to hold their evaluation – something that has not yet been obtained to date.
However, FA rules state:A participant should at all times behave in the best interests of the game and shall not act in any manner which is improper or brings the game into disrepute.
Both Manchester and Liverpool City are to comment on this development.
Liverpool said upon the initial report :We do not supply any comment on any allegations regarding legal arrangements it might or might not have entered into with any other team, organisation or individual.
