Global Gaming Expo Big Business in Las Vegas

Avatar, the casino game, was unveiled at the latest gaming that is global (G2E) in Las Vegas this week

Anyone that is anyone into the gambling industry could be found in vegas this week; that’s where the worldwide Gaming Expo is occurring, a gathering of 25,000 attendees who are all interested in seeing where the worldwide gambling market will be headed over the year that is next.

Easing Up on Regulations Major Focus

At the meeting understood as G2E there happen a true wide range of major issues discussed. United states Gaming Association leader Geoff Freeman noted that their biggest priority will be to push state regulators to unify and lighten the regulations up on the casino industry within the united states of america, in order making it easier for companies to innovate throughout the country.

‚Our industry is not allowed to update due to the environment that is regulatory‘ Freeman said. ‚That’s one thing we need to address. We should be controlled. But, you will find places us less competitive that it crosses the line and really affects innovation and makes. Each state that is new happens feels like they need to turn the screws just a little bit tighter than the one before.‘

But before any of the numerous important issues facing the industry could get attention, the meeting had been kicked off with a spectacular opening ceremony and all of the glitz and glamour that the world of gambling has to offer.

Could Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Also Catch Fire? This Has Numerous Times

This Atlantic City Boardwalk fire from November 2009 is only one of many that have plagued the tourist attraction over the years.

The last thing this New Jersey town needed was any proximity at all to yet another disaster with casino revenues already largely in the toilet for the majority of Atlantic City’s land casinos, and the gambling town still recovering from last year’s devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy which shut down many of the city’s casinos for days. Along with final week’s horrific Boardwalk fire in the Seaside Heights area maybe not directly attached to AC, but along the same 217-mile stretch of Atlantic shoreline that is frequented by lots of the same tourists and locals one can’t help but wonder if Atlantic City may also need an exorcist or to put blood on its casino walls for the passover associated with the apparently ongoing plagues which can be being doled out from on high.

Or possibly, wooden boardwalks while charming when built 150 years ago are simply just not really a safe building material in the contemporary world. Fire professionals are, in reality, now saying the destructive fire appears to possess been an episode of arson, though the inspiration is unclear.
